Original Release Date: January 17, 2017
This was the second of three webcomics that debuted on DoorJam Creations. I made each of them in the autumn of 2016 and released them the following January.
This splash panel issue is inspired by New Yorker cartoons (back when I read it online and it wasn't fully a schizophrenic mixture of enlightening and interesting information and undignified “woke” nonsense), in this case parodying similar “woke” internet outrage claims of cultural appropriation by means of Campbell's Soup Cans (1962) by Andy Warhol, perhaps the most famous case of cultural appropriation in art history. So, in closing, see if you can spot the joke in this issue.
